To speed up daily browsing on the Internet, your web browser saves frequently used images and web pages in it’s memory (cache). To ensure you are seeing the updated ‘live’ version of your website it is important to clear your web browser’s cache after making any updates to your site.
To clear your web browser’s cache please follow these steps below:
- Once your browser is open, select the Settings icon (the settings menu, located in the upper-right corner – looks like 3 horizontal lines on top of each other) then, Tools, and Clear Browsing Data.
- In the Obliterate the following items from: dropdown menu, select the beginning of time.
- Tick the boxes for Browsing History and for cached images and files. Uncheck everything else to avoid deleting other data.
- Click the Clear Browsing Data button. Chrome will work for a moment, and then the process will be done. You’ve successfully cleared Chrome’s Cache!
