Meta Ads Case Studies

What our customers say

Results are taken from each client’s Meta Ads Manager account for 23 April to 21 October 2026. Lead figures are each account’s tracked results as reported in Ads Manager under its own attribution settings.

01 · Melbourne Employment Law Firm

685 Legal Leads at $5.29 Each for a Melbourne Employment Law Firm

685
website leads in 6 months
$5.29
cost per lead
$20
daily budget
$3,624.80
total spend

The Client and the Challenge

An employment law firm acting exclusively for employees, with its main office in Melbourne and a second in Brisbane. The firm already runs a strong Google Ads program, but legal keywords are among the most expensive on the internet and search only captures people who are actively looking for a lawyer at that exact moment.

The opportunity on social is different. Employees facing unfair dismissal, redundancy disputes or workplace issues scroll Facebook and Instagram every day, often before they have worked out that a lawyer can help. The challenge was to reach them there at a cost that makes sense, in a category where paid clicks are brutally expensive everywhere else.

Strategy and Execution

  • Built a single, tightly focused lead generation campaign across Facebook and Instagram, optimised to website leads rather than clicks or reach, so Meta’s delivery system is trained on the only outcome that matters.
  • Wrote the ad copy to speak directly to employees and their situations, mirroring the positioning that already works for the firm on search: employees only, no employers.
  • Sent traffic to the firm’s own site and enquiry flow rather than a generic form, so every lead arrives with the same qualification as a search enquiry.
  • Used a 7 day click and 1 day view attribution window with engagement included, matched to how people actually move from a social ad to contacting a law firm.
  • Kept the budget small and steady at $20 a day rather than pushing spend, protecting cost per lead and letting the campaign run always on for six months without fatigue.

The Results

In the six months to 21 October 2026 the campaign produced 685 website leads at $5.29 per lead, from a total spend of $3,624.80. For context, a single click in this firm’s Google Ads account routinely costs more than $9, and its search enquiries cost $32.93 each. The Meta campaign delivers an enquiry for roughly half the price of one search click.

The campaign is still active on the same modest budget, quietly adding more than a hundred leads a month alongside the firm’s search program. Together the two channels give the firm coverage of the whole journey: social reaches employees early, and search catches them when they are ready to act.

02 · Sydney Tree Removal Specialists

A Second Lead Engine on Meta for a Sydney Tree Services Company

490+
Meta leads in 6 months
$78
blended cost per lead
$70.84
best campaign cost per lead
$38,260
invested over 6 months

The Client and the Challenge

A tree removal and arborist business servicing the whole of metro Sydney, and the subject of one of our strongest Google Ads case studies. Tree work is urgent, high value and visual: a storm damaged gum hanging over a roof is exactly the kind of problem people photograph, and exactly the kind of job worth thousands of dollars.

Search already keeps the crews busy, but the business wanted a second, independent pipeline of enquiries. The question was whether social could deliver leads for serious, high value tree work at a cost that stacks up, rather than a stream of tyre kickers.

Strategy and Execution

  • Built Messenger based lead campaigns, so every ad opens a conversation with the business rather than pushing people to a form, which suits how homeowners actually ask about tree work.
  • Fronted the ads with real video of the crews on the tools, climbing, felling and clearing, so homeowners see exactly who is turning up, which builds trust before the first message is sent.
  • Tested creative variants head to head, cut the losers and promoted the winners, iterating through numbered video versions rather than guessing.
  • Scaled the proven performer to a $200 daily budget while keeping cost per lead inside the target range, and kept earlier winning campaigns archived for reuse.
  • Targeted the campaigns to the local service area with prospecting audiences, keeping the pipeline full of new homeowners rather than retreading the same audience.

The Results

Over the six months to 21 October 2026 the account generated roughly 490 Meta leads from about $38,260 in spend, a blended $78 per lead. The strongest campaign delivered 367 leads at $70.84 each, and the current video led campaign has added 117 more at $95.88 while still running. Against jobs that are routinely worth several thousand dollars, the arithmetic is comfortably one sided.

This is the largest Meta investment across our client portfolio, and it has stayed on because it keeps earning its place. Between Google and Meta the business now has two independent lead engines, which means a quiet week on one channel no longer means quiet crews.

03 · Eastern Suburbs Veterinary Practice

A Steady Stream of New Patients for an Eastern Suburbs Vet Practice

146
enquiries in 6 months
$37.20
cost per enquiry
24
enquiries in the last 30 days
$5,431
total spend

The Client and the Challenge

A veterinary practice in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, serving a tight local catchment where pet owners typically choose a vet once and stay for the life of the pet. New client acquisition is the whole game: each new patient is worth years of consultations, vaccinations and treatments, not a single transaction.

The practice needed a dependable flow of new patient enquiries without the overheads of a complicated account. No gimmicks, no sprawling campaign structure, just a reliable weekly stream of local pet owners getting in touch.

Strategy and Execution

  • Run one always on website lead campaign with a single ad set, keeping every dollar concentrated instead of fragmenting the budget across structures the account does not need.
  • Test two ads head to head at all times, so there is always a control and a challenger, and refresh the creative when performance tells us to rather than on a calendar.
  • Optimise to website leads with conversion tracking tuned to genuine enquiries, phone calls and form submissions rather than page views or clicks.
  • Use a 7 day click and 1 day view attribution window suited to a considered local service decision.
  • Review monthly against cost per enquiry, leaving a working campaign alone rather than fiddling with it, which is harder discipline than it sounds.

The Results

In the six months to 21 October 2026 the campaign delivered 146 website enquiries at $37.20 each, from $5,431.10 in total spend. The flow is remarkably consistent: 24 of those enquiries landed in the most recent 30 days, so the campaign is getting stronger, not fatiguing.

For a local practice, that is roughly six new patient enquiries every week from a campaign that costs about $30 a day to run. Measured against the lifetime value of a new veterinary client, the campaign pays for itself many times over, month after month.

04 · Sydney Wedding and Events Venue

255 Wedding and Event Enquiries for a Sydney Venue

255
enquiries in 6 months
$33.76
cost per enquiry
~10
enquiries per week on average
$8,609
total spend

The Client and the Challenge

A rustic wedding and events venue on Sydney’s south western fringe, the kind of place couples fall in love with on sight. The business model is unforgiving though: weddings are booked many months in advance, so an empty enquiry pipeline today becomes an empty calendar next season, long after it is too late to fix.

The venue needed volume: a consistent flow of tour requests and event enquiries from couples and event planners, arriving well ahead of each booking season, at a cost that made sense against bookings worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Strategy and Execution

  • Built the campaign around the venue’s strongest sales asset, the venue itself, using photography built to stop the scroll in a feed full of weddings and venues.
  • Optimised to website leads so the campaign chases actual enquiries, tour requests and date checks, not likes, saves or vanity reach.
  • Pointed every ad at a simple, low friction enquiry flow on the website, because a couple comparing venues will not fight a clunky form.
  • Used an engagement inclusive attribution window matched to how couples browse, save and come back before enquiring.
  • Concentrated the budget into the run of months that drive bookings rather than spreading it thinly across the whole year.

The Results

Across its six month run to October 2026 the campaign produced 255 website enquiries at $33.76 each, from roughly $8,600 in spend. That is close to ten enquiries a week flowing to the venue’s events team throughout the campaign.

For a venue, the economics barely need explaining: one converted wedding can be worth more than the entire six months of advertising. The campaign has since completed its run, with the enquiry pipeline and the booking calendar in a far healthier state than when it started.

05 · Sydney Industrial Coatings Specialist

Proof That B2B Works on Meta: 118 Industrial Leads at $72.93

118
form leads in 6 months
$72.93
cost per lead
1
campaign, still active
$8,605
total spend

The Client and the Challenge

An industrial surface preparation and coatings specialist whose customers are project managers, engineers, fleet operators and trades businesses. It is about as far from a consumer impulse purchase as advertising gets, and the received wisdom says this kind of business belongs on search and LinkedIn, not Facebook.

The reality is that those same buyers scroll social media like everyone else. The challenge was format and friction: a time poor operations manager is not going to leave the platform and fill in a long website form on their phone. If social was going to work, enquiring had to take seconds.

Strategy and Execution

  • Ran a single lead generation campaign built on Meta instant forms, so a buyer can register interest in a few taps without leaving the platform, with their details prefilled by Meta.
  • Wrote the creative for industry, not consumers: plain language about capability, turnaround and the kinds of jobs the business handles, with imagery from real projects.
  • Optimised delivery to form leads so the campaign is trained on completed enquiries, not clicks or impressions.
  • Kept the form short enough to convert but structured enough to qualify, so the sales team gets real prospects rather than curiosity clicks.
  • Fed every lead straight through to the client for fast follow up, because B2B leads cool quickly.

The Results

In the six months to 21 October 2026 the campaign generated 118 form leads at $72.93 each, from $8,605.44 in spend, and it remains active. For industrial work where a single job can run well into five figures, one converted lead covers the entire campaign budget with room to spare.

The bigger story is strategic. This campaign is standing proof that Meta can be a serious B2B lead channel when the format matches the buyer: low friction instant forms, creative that respects the audience’s expertise, and relentless optimisation to leads rather than noise.

06 · Sydney Childcare Group

Filling 2027 Enrolments Early for a Sydney Childcare Group

222
website enquiries in 6 months
75
Messenger conversations started
$19.90
best cost per enquiry (inner west centre)
$9,191
total spend

The Client and the Challenge

A childcare and early learning group with centres across Sydney, from the Sutherland Shire to the inner west and the eastern suburbs. Childcare is a local trust decision with a narrow window: once a family starts looking, they tour two or three centres and decide quickly, and a place filled by a competitor is gone for years.

The group needed two things at once: each centre visible in its own catchment, with its own budget and its own results, and easy, low pressure ways for parents to make first contact, because many are not ready to fill in an enrolment form on day one.

Strategy and Execution

  • Run a dedicated website lead campaign for each centre, so every centre has its own budget, its own catchment targeting and its own cost per enquiry, rather than one blended campaign hiding the differences.
  • Added a group wide ENROLMENTS FOR 2027 campaign that sells next year’s places months ahead of time instead of waiting for vacancy season.
  • Run a Messenger campaign alongside the lead campaigns, so a parent can simply start a chat with the centre the same way they message friends, which suits parents who want to ask a quick question before committing to a tour.
  • Keep the creative warm and real, built around the centres, their rooms and their educators rather than stock imagery.
  • Measure every campaign on its own cost per result, website leads and conversations separately, and move budget to whichever centre and format is converting best as the enrolment season moves.

The Results

In the six months to 21 October 2026 the account produced 222 website enquiries across the four lead campaigns: 79 at the inner west centre at just $19.90 per enquiry, 52 at the Sutherland Shire centre at $30.10, 33 at the eastern suburbs centre at $32.10, and 58 from the group wide 2027 enrolment push at $62.98. Alongside them, the Messenger campaign started 75 parent conversations at $17.87 each. Total investment across everything was $9,190.52.

The two formats do different jobs and both are working: Messenger catches the early, tentative questions, and the lead campaigns convert serious intent into tours and enrolment applications. The practical outcome is the one that matters to a centre director: 2027 places are being filled well ahead of time, at every centre.
