Blossom Blends Ecommerce Website
Posted on: August 8, 2012
Blossom Blends is a boutique tea purveyor based in the chic leafy suburb of Paddington. Working with naturopaths and tea masters from around the world, Blossom Blends hand blend premium specialty teas and gourmet tisanes that improve your wellbeing whilst being a pleasure to drink.
Blossom Blends is a tea authority, spreading the word on the goodness of herbal and fruit blend loose leaf teas. Unlike other teas, Blossom Blends Tisanes are caffeine free and each herbal blend is created to have specific therapeutic benefits. These range from assisting in promoting a good night’s sleep, helping banish procrastination, to energising and detoxifying your body.
Quikclicks was approached by Blossom Blends to produce a new website for their company, a boutique tea supplier based in the chic leafy suburb of Paddington.
Challenged with the idea of bringing the unique Blossom Blends brand and group of followers from the existing, popular Facebook page, the new Blossom Blends website brings Blog and user-commenting functionality harnessed within an e-commerce shopping cart framework to facilitate direct orders over the internet. Each element of the new site also needed to be integrated into popular Social Networking modules to tie the new site into existing Social platforms and promote the business through Social Marketing avenues.
About the new Website
The new website was built on CMS (Content Management System) technology providing the freedom to grow the site in a range of directions as the business continues to grow. The client can also enter all website content and product information through the system themselves without the need to constantly come back to a web designer. It also features a great deal of social inegration between Social Media networks and allows for user reviews on products. There is also a full blog module which allows for product news, specials and tips on making the ‘Perfect cup’ of tea and the specific therapeutic benefits of each herbal tea.
The shopping cart functionality supports payments and shipping options via a number of online or manual methods allowing customers of Blossom Blends to order their unique range of herbal and fruit blend loose leaf teas to be purchased directly from the site and shipped to the customer’s door.
Feedback from the client
“After selling through Facebook for six months I was looking for a full e-commerce platform with CMS functionality and full social integration. It was a long search with many fruitless meetings with developers that either had trouble meeting my needs, or on the other hand would charge like a wounded bull for their services. Thank goodness I discovered Quikclicks. I received fantastic advice, wonderful customer service and a beautiful website to match. The CMS is a absolute breeze to use, and the pinterest, Facebook, customer reviews tabs are top of the line plug ins that are gaining great traction. The coupon codes and reward points features are also brilliant features that I hadn’t thought about when commencing the build. Highly recommend Quikclicks to anyone looking to build a an ecommerce site.” Anne – Blossom Blends
