How does it all work?
Every hosting account requires a domain name to attach to (eg. www.your-company.com). This allows people surfing the Internet to connect to your website on your hosting account, when they visit your domain address (or URL). The hosting account also allows you to create Email mail boxes with that specific domain name attached to it (eg. you@your_company.com).
What web-hosting account do I need?
The type of web-hosting account that’s right for you depends on a number of factors:
- The type of website you want to host on the account
(eg. The size of the website, whether it requires a database or unique settings)
- The amount of visitors to your website (known as bandwidth or site traffic)
- The amount of Email accounts your require for you and your staff.
